WE ARE always on the look out for good food.
One of the major food districts in Davao City is Torres St., which is lined with restaurants and cafe that offer good food and drinks for the hungry Dabawenyos.
Coffee Bar, one of the newer food establishments in the area, offers delicious comfort food that is fit for anytime of the day and that will surely satisfy different group of diners coming here.
To start your meal here, order either of the four platters they offer.
The first platter includes fries, chips, chicken tenders, and cheese sticks with garlic mayo; the second platter has shrimps, onion rings, and chips with garlic mayo; the third platter is three kinds of buffalo wings -- original, teriyaki, and barbecue; and the fourth platter includes three sausages -- hungarian, schublig, and frankfurter -- with chips and honey mustard sauce.
The platters are great while waiting for your main course or with a bottle of beer or a glass of cocktail.
If you think the platters are too much to start a meal, you can opt with classic Filipino favorites, Sisig with Egg or Kinilaw.
For your main course, we suggest you try their Buttered Chicken, Garlic Chicken, and the Lechon Kawali
Aside from the favorite comfort food, they also serve burgers. Try their Double Trouble Burger or their Cheesy Bacon Burger.
For dessert, you can always order some delicious and indulgent cakes from Beanleaf, which is right next door.
When the sun is down, Coffee Bar opens the bar offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and a variety of cocktails.
Some of the cocktails we recommend you try is the Peach Mojito, Sweet Poison, Tropical Sunrise, Long Island Iced tea, Tokyo Drift, and Adios MotherF*Cker. You can also try their quirky flaming shots -- Joker Shot, B52 Shot, and Blue Suicide.
Should you look for good place to have a meal or a good drink after work, Coffee Bar is a place to visit.
