Test results match bullets in Ebarli Jr.'s body to Ivler's gun (4:01 p.m.)

MANILA - Results of the ballistic tests on Jason Ivler's handgun matched with the bullets found in the car and body of Renato Victor Ebarle Jr., NBI head official disclosed Thursday.

The National Bureau of Investigatioon (NBI) released Thursday the results of the ballistic tests of the handgun that was used during the shootout with the NBI operatives last Monday. Ivler also used the gun in the November 18 killing of Ebarli Jr.

Angelito Magno, head of the NBI Special Action Unit said "...ang ballistic test, parang finger print natin yan...Masasabi talaga natin na ito ay isang very strong evidence against Ivler."

Ivler has been subjected to manhunt after killing Ebarli Jr., son of the Presidential Chief of Staff Undersecretary Renato Ebarli Sr. in a road-rage shooting last November 18.

Ivler critically wounded Monday when he opened fire at police officers trying to arrest him.

Meanwhile, doctors attending Ivler in Quirino Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City said Thursday that Ivler can already be moved out from the intensive care unit. (Sunnex)
