In love with Islas de Gigantes

In love with Islas de Gigantes

FOR the first time this year, I have entrusted my heart and a part of me was left in the beautiful islands of Gigantes in Carles, Iloilo.

It was the much needed break for me and my high school girlfriend, Gretchie dreamed of having. We hopped through most of them and were definitely captivated.

1.) Pulupandan Island (Walang forever island)

The tour guide told us that before typhoon Yolanda hit the place, there were three coconut trees. After the typhoon, there’s only one. Alone forever. The last one standing.

2.) Little Boracay

One of my favorite stops.

I visited a lot of “Little Boracays” but this is surely the best. (I never visited Boracay though). The sand was white and fine and the water was crystal clear.

The waters were so inviting and looked safe haha, so we decided to swim here.

3.) Tanke enchanted lagoon

If you haven’t visited Palawan and your budget is tight, visit here and it would feel like you are in Palawan at least. Every time I asked a friend to guess where my picture was taken, they would answer Palawan.

We were only allowed for 15 minutes in this place to avoid crowds, I guess. There was also that “Skull” rock formation welcoming us in the lagoon. Hohoho. Needless to say, the lagoon was so enchanting!

4.) Cabugao gamay (Selfie island)

If you Google Gigantes Island, Cabugao Gamay Island is the one that gets featured a lot.

They call it “selfie” island since then it would be your background if you take a selfie.
