Included in the casts are Melissa Ricks, Robi Domingo, Ricky Davao, Rio Locsin, Rica Peralejo, Janus Del Prado, Alwyn Uytingco with the special participation of the "Divine Diva" Zsa Zsa Padilla.

Singing the movie’s theme song is Pinoy Dream Academy Season Two runner-up Bugoy Drilon.

Bayani said they were looking for two songs, which will be used in the movie as a title and its theme song as well.

“Nung napag-uusapan yung konsepto at napagdesisyunan nga na the story is about bestfriends, there were two songs na pinagpipilian,” he said.

“Pero hindi naman mapagkakaila na yung kanta eh akmang akma sa pelikula, nag cocomplement yung proyekto sa kanta," added Bayani, referring to Bugoy’s song.

Bugoy, who graced the event to perform "Paano Na Kaya" for the entertainment press, also expressed his excitement and happiness to be part of the movie.

“Sobrang masaya at nagpapasalamat po sa Panginoon sa lahat ng ito,” Bugoy said.

After a few questions on their role in “Paano Na Kaya,” the entertainment press started to dig on the closeness of the two young stars and their real relationship.

Kim and Gerald were asked individually to give their comments especially that one veteran reporter saw them very close to each other in The Fort, Taguig City.

“Sa tagal na naming magkasama ni Kim, ang masasabi ko lang po sa inyo na hindi kami nagco-confirm kung anong meron sa amin,” he said. “Ayoko naman po na sabihin na we're close friends kasi lampas na po kami sa friendship. Basta po sa amin ayaw ko po masaktan si Kim at sa tingin ko naman ganun din sya sa akin.”

The 19-year-old Cebuana actress who was still uncomfortable talking about her closeness to Gerald said she's happy when he is around.

“Ako masaya naman ako pag kasama ko si Gerald, parang lagi akong safe pag andyan sya, lagi nya akong pinapatawa. Isa sya sa mga taong nagpapasaya sa akin at masaya kami pag magkasama kami,” Kim said.

The 20-year-old actor meanwhile said they are in the "MU" (Mutual Understanding) stage as of now and they learn new things from each other as days pass.

“Siyempre, there are different days na iba ang ugali ni Kim. Like, one day, sobrang saya. After 12 midnight, baka medyo malungkot na siya or pagod na, so I step in and make sure to make her happy. Iba every time I try to make her happy, iba po ang reaksiyon niya. Every day is a new day for me and her,” Gerald said.

The two started their friendship inside the Pinoy Big Brother house four years ago. After the show, they were inseparable in TV guestings and projects in the Kapamilya network.

Their latest success was the primetime teleserye “Tayong Dalawa” wherein they showed the public they are ready to take on drama roles and up for mature characters.

The show also reaped critics' nod and enjoyed consistent high ratings on its extended nine-month run.

Director Bayani said the latest movie of the two is another re-affirmation on how good they are and how the viewing public embraced their team-up.

He also believes that bigger and more mature projects will come their way.

He shared that he can see Kim and Gerald following the footsteps of the "Star for All Seasons" Vilma Santos and veteran thespian Christopher de Leon.

“Paano Na Kaya” will hit movie theaters nationwide starting January 27, 2010. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
