5 foreigners nabbed for illegal drugs

FIVE foreigners were arrested for keeping illegal drugs on Friday morning, June 1, inside a hotel in Cebu City.

The joint operatives of Mabolo and Abellana police stations seized 7.12 grams of illegal drugs, “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and marijuana, worth P84,046, a Dangerous Drugs Board value.

The operation happened after an arrested drug pusher, Meljin Abad, identified Jake Greevy as his supplier.

Greevy was arrested with his fellow British nationals Raymond Lewis Humphries and Wayne Barry McLeney.

American nationals Jeremy Michael Stevenson and Breana Austin Ulrich were also arrested.

Suspects will be charged for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. (KAL/SunStar Cebu)
