THIS year could be known as the year of breakups: Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, Michael Sheen and Sarah Silverman, and many others.

Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico were almost added to the list—all because of “Thor” actor Chris Hemsworth.

They were just kidding though.

In several social media posts, Heussaff, 32, and Bolzico, 34, joked that the model almost divorced her Argentine businessman-husband because he failed to take a paparazzo shot of his wife working out with Hemsworth.

So how did the couple meet Hemsworth?

“I went to Singapore for an event for Hugo Boss representing the Philippines,” the Filipina-French model and actress told SunStar Cebu. “It was the pre-launching of the brand and each country is represented by a celebrity or celebrity couple—so there were those from Thailand, Vietnam, Mongolia and the Philippines. From the Philippines, kami ni Nico.”

“Kaso lang, nung morning, pumunta ako sa gym with my husband. Tapos nandun si Chris Hemsworth. Kaya syempre naman sumingit ako. Akala ko mag pi-picture si Nico or magfi-film kasi once in a lifetime lang ‘yan. Kailan pa ulit mangyayari? Pero wala. Hindi siya nag-picture (So in the morning, I went to the gym with my husband. Then Chris Hemsworth was there. So of course I tried to be sneaky thinking Nico would take a photo or a video since it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. When would that happen again? But nothing. He didn’t take a photo),” laughed Heussaff.

Eventually, though, Heussaff got her photo opportunity with Hemsworth at the Hugo Boss event. One could say that Hemsworth literally got in the middle of the couple’s relationship.

Huessaff helped open the Cebu Business Month at the Ayala Center Cebu last Friday. Performers during the Grand Opening Salvo were the 50-member Loboc Ambassador Youth Band, Star System Dance Troupe and Doce Pares Eskrima. Award-winning fashion innovator Malayka Yamas also showed off her creativity through Cebu’s beauty queens.

Heussaff, in an interview, said she doesn’t have a lot of projects lined up in the next couple of months. She just finished “All-Star Videoke” and “The One That Got Away.”

“I have a feeling that for the next two months I will just be doing ‘Taste Buddies.’ Then I will also do ‘Lip Sync Battle Philippines’ and ‘Bubble Gang.’ Then I will start shooting for my new movie with Sam Milby, Angeline Quinto and Lovi Poe in July,” said Heussaff.

That’s a lot of work for someone who said she would not be that busy. She’s also a wife and an entrepreneur.

“For me, when you want, you can! For example, I want to work out or paint before I work. I wake up early, like 5 a.m. You can always make time for things you love and the things you want to do,” said Heussaff.

As for children, she said it’s part of the plan.

“In the next two years, maybe, because I’m getting older,” she said.
