CHARLES Uy and Joanne Desquitado chose the first Sunday of May, the festive month of flowers, for their wedding day. Oh yes, flowers bloomed profusely at the Sacred Heart Parish Church on that lovely afternoon, as well as at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino, the reception venue.
Since it was the first wedding in both families, their parents, Charles Nelson and Zenaida Uy, and Earl and Agnes Desiree Desquitado, pulled out all the stops to give them a wedding to remember and cherish forever.
A moving highlight at the church was the performance of the famed, award-winning Loboc Choir, who rendered their winning piece (in Europe) for the young couple. During the reception, it was singing diva Kuh Ledesma who entertained the guests.
A beautiful wedding on all counts!
