ANGELES CITY -- A top executive of Jocson College Incorporated has stated that they are preparing their students, particularly those in the hospitality and tourism courses, for possible employment in Japan and South Korea.

During a media forum dubbed at Widus Hotel and Casino, Jocson College Incorporated vice president Maria Felisa Jocson said that they are building opportunity for the students.

“Ang mga initiative na ginagawa ko sa Korea at Japan, I’m focusing on the employment opportunity [para] sa mga estudyante naming sa Jocson College,” Jocson said.

She revealed the school management is coordinating with several firms in Japan to help students particularly those who completed the school’s flagship courses on aviation and hospitality tourism.

“Ito pong employment opportunities ng ating mga estudyante sa ibang bansa ay malaking oportunidad sa Angeles at Central Luzon,” Jocson said.

She also thanked Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan for supporting the school.

“When I was in Japan, sinabi ko kay mayor ang mga ginagawa ko. Ang sagot po niya, you are an unheard hero of our people. Para sabihin po ng aking idolo yon, I think isa po yun na patunay na kailangan po akong marinig ng ating mga kababayan sa tulong po ninyo. Katulong po ako ng Pampanga Press Club,” Jocson said.

She also thanked the mayor for gracing the recent graduation rites of the school despite a short notice.

“It is with great honor and privilege to have the president of the Mayors League of the Philippines and Top 8 World City Mayor as our guest of honor and speaker during our 2018 Commencement Exercises held at Grand Palazzio Royale,” Jocson said.
