BOL Manaloto poured 18 points and anchored My Spaghetti House squad to a 30-point advantage over Cebu Sendai Motors in the ongoing 10th Tan Kek Pin Memorial Basketball Cup at Po Hang gym, Tay Tung High School.
Both squads rallied a close trail in the first quarter with 29-24 with Bobby PeƱascosa and Dan Gustilo combined 19 points to back the Cebu Sendai. However, father and son tandem of Joshua and Richard Co rained 20 points, extending the lead to 58-39 at the break.
Spaghetti continued outscoring Cebu Sendai in the next two quarters for a breakaway victory as Jaime Luis Sy continued to hit three shots behind the arc along with Fr. Clarence Canafe (10 points) Arvin Chua and Oliver Yap with 6 points apiece while Cebu Sendai was paced by Romar Desusa with 16 points and Marvin Ortiz with 7 points.
On the other hand, 13-year-old Kirrel Brahndon Montalbo led JKT with 34 points and escaped Terra Dolce, 99-93.
A sudden run by Terra Dolce with Alex Chua, Biboy Yap and Daniel Chiu pouring treys from rainbow territory engineered a rally cutting the deficit to 77-75 with 6 minutes left however John Montemayor responded with a 7-2 run to safely put JKT on an 84-77 lead.
Chiu made another trey to cut the lead by four but Montalbo hit eight straight points to make it 11-point lead and eventually gave JKT a win.
