Keno lottery now in Iloilo

THE popular Keno lottery operated and regulated by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in different parts of the country is now in Iloilo City.

The first Keno outlet was inaugurated Friday, January 22, at the activity center of Amigo Terrace Hotel that will set the pace of Keno betting in a lotto-like-bingo game designed mostly for small bettors.

PCSO regional head Jeanette Oberio said the game machines and computer system is supplied by Total Gaming Technologies Inc., the supplier of all Keno gaming outlets in the Visayas and Mindanao areas.

Henri Muzzarelli and chief operating officer Antonio Reyes of Total Gaming were present during the launching of the first Keno lotto outlet in the city. Both are enjoining local businessmen to become franchisee of the entertainment game, which will make lots of small winners in the area.

Muzzarelli said that while it is a game of chance, Keno is more of an entertainment that gives hope to small bettors.

There are 72 games in 12 hours per day or one game every 10 minutes starting from 12 noon to 12 midnight.

The second Keno outlet here is at the Farmacia Socorro by next month and the plan would set up Keno bet gaming in every lotto outlet franchised by PCSO.

Soon to start are Keno outlets in Boracay Island Aklan and in the municipalities of Pototan, Barotac Viejo and Banate, all in Iloilo province. (LCP)
