Capitol inaugurates 2 school buildings in Lubao, Guagua

LUBAO -- The Provincial Government of Pampanga on Thursday inaugurated two brand new school buildings in Guillermo D. Mendoza National Elementary School in Guagua town and San Pedro Saug Elementary School, each worth P5 million. These were inaugurated in coincidence with the opening of school year 2018-2019.

Third District Board Member Rosve Henson, who represented Governor Lilia Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis Pineda, pointed out the importance of having these newly-inaugurated buildings. He also said that the provincial government is keen on knowing what is needed more for the benefit of the pupils.

“Beyond our presence in inaugurating the school building, is we are also here to check on what needs to be given to our schools to augment its capability in providing good education,” he said.

Dr. Leonardo Zapanta, schools division superintendent in Pampanga, urged the school officials to take good care of the school buildings.

“Take good care of these buildings so that the next generation of students will benefit with them,” he said.

Also present in the inauguration were Provincial Librarian Bessie Makabali, Provincial Investment Promotion Office head Engr. Lulu Alingcastre and local officials from the respective municipalities in Guagua and Lubao. (PR)
