ON its second season, Stacy’s Model Management Modeling Workshop had its culminating activity at the Activity Center, SM City Cebu last May 27.

A total of 42 students enrolled in the workshop and it was there on the runway that audiences saw the lessons they’d learned for the past few weeks seen in different thematic segments. The workshop was open for those ages five and above.

“Our objective in every season is technically the same: To train our students in the basics of modelling, may it be on print ads or runway, and boosting their self-esteem and confidence. Give them not just theories, but train them to be young professional models by giving them the total experience of the life of a model and how it works in the industry,” said Stacy Avila Lloren of Stacy’s Model Management. “We want our students to be engaged in the real world. We constantly tell them that this workshop is just the first big step in the career that they all desire. There is a big world and space in the industry that is waiting to be filled for those who really desire to become a model.”

The workshop included various lessons from hosting, personality development and modeling lessons from runway, print, high fashion, product or commercial to name a few.

Awards were given that night for both kids and teens category such as Best in Runway by The Pyramid (Kids) given to Jannah Jimenez and Misha Tse in the Teens category; Stacy’s Social Media Ambassador was given to Olyvia Solenn Norman for the Kids category and Cestine Fenix in the Teens category.

The graduation fashion show also showcased a mix of students from last year’s workshop as well as designs created by some of Cebu’s talents: John Arellano, Bree Esplanada, Jessie Lastimosa, Mikhail Achas and Lilet Delos Reyes.

Modeling workshops like Stacy’s Model Management’s are avenues for aspirants to reach their full potential and learn the tips and tricks of the profession.
