Sarah G. wows Dabawenyos

POPSTAR royalty Sarah Geronimo did not disappoint the Dabawenyos with her all out performance during the staging of the Davao leg of “This 15 Me” Concert Philippine Tour last June 30 at the SMX Convention Center Lanang, Davao City.

Popsters and supporters trooped down the venue and filled up the SMX Convention Center. The moment she emerged from the staged, the concert-goers could no longer contain their excitement. Cheers, loud applause, and shouts of love dominated the air as she belted her hit songs.

The concert for a cause is for the benefit of Davao School for the Blind. This is also in celebration of her 15 years in the showbiz industry.

During the concert, Geronimo narrated her journey to stardom, from a mere amateur singer in their barangay to a total performer she is today. All the rejections that she experienced in life from the auditions and failure to get cast in commercials or movies have fueled her to strive harder to reach to where she is right now.

This time around, she was able to control her emotion while talking about her idol, the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

Geronimo is now a sought-after talent, brand endorser, and an actress. She had also top-billed blockbuster movies along with the country’s finest leading men.

During the concert, she also performed with co-artists Xian Lim and Sam Concepcion. Concepcion was formerly a contestant and a winner of the first season of the Little Big Stars, which she hosted.

Sarah Geronimo This 15 Me PH Tour - Live in Davao City is brought to you by EKG Productions, owned and operated by Emil and Kate Gayap. The concert was also presented by Phoenix Pulse Technology, Phoenix Super LPG, and Thai Royale Spa.
