LOCAL officials led Friday, July 6, government employees and residents during the launching of Mabalacat City's environmental protection program.
In line with this, the City Government celebrated the First Mabalacat City Arbor Day at the Paradise Ranch inside the Clark Freefort.
Engineer Jesusa Santiago, city environment officer, oriented the participants regarding the environment program.
Arbor Day is celebrated every July 6 of the year based on the Environment Code of Mabalacat City.
Councilor Roland Pena expressed support to the program and underscored the importance of protecting the environment.
Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, together with the other officials and city employees, initiated a tree planting activity shortly after the program.
