THE Silay City Government led by Mayor Mark Golez turned over a check amounting to P 1.859 million to Joanna Duarte, representative of Ayala Foundation Inc. Friday at the Puericulture Building in the city.
The said amount is the 25 percent counterpart of the local government in lieu of the memorandum of agreement entered by the Silay City Government, Ayala Foundation Inc. and Department of Education-Division of Silay City for the implementation of training institute and the inception of a supplementary package in Adela Elementary School and Sto. Rosario Elementary School under the global Filipinos School (GFS) framework. (PR)
