Suzette Ranillo: Krista not a bad person

THE aunt of the controversial actress Krista Ranillo finally aired her side on the issues involving her niece.

The rumored relationship of Krista with boxing champ Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao has been the talk of the town for quite some time, and on Sunday, in a television interview, Suzette Ranillo breaks her silence.

Suzette believes that their family, particularly Krista, has been tried by bad publicity.

“This has been blown out of proportion by everyone. I think with Manny who has given so much pride to our country, I think kailangan nating i-focus ang ating energy sya na contribute nya sa ating bansa. Kung ano yung mga problema let us set that aside (Whatever is the problem let us all set it a side),” she said.

She also gave her piece of message to veteran actress Gina Alajar, who posted a shoutout in her Facebook account about Krista, that stirred the issue even higher.

“Kung ano man ang naging marital issues mo, sana wag kang mag fault find lalong lalo na kay Krista (Whatever is your marital issues, may you not fault find it to Krista),” Suzette said.

She added: “You know in your heart the real reason kung bakit nagkaganyan ang marriage ninyo. I pray that you can rise above this trial of yours just like everyone else.”

The sister of Matt Ranilo III also apologized to Krista's Wapakman co-star Bianca King. She cleared though that she never took Bianca's things out of the tent when the Wapakman movie was still shooting.

When asked on her message to her niece, Suzette has this to say: “My family is not perfect but one thing I can say, Krista is not a bad person. She may not be perfect, but she's not a bad person, as a matter of fact she's a very loving and giving person. I'm proud of my family and of Krista.

Suzette added: "No matter what, in spite of everything, our love for you Krista is unconditional; it will always be the same."

She is also hoping that the news will die down so that everyone can move on. (Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
