FOUR kilos of marijuana leaves were seized from a man who carried an alias "Marijuana Queen" while selling it early morning Wednesday, in a barangay in Cebu City.
Junemar Magbasa Cabahug, 23, also known as "Karla" was arrested around 4 a.m. in Sitio Silangan, Barangay Tejero, during a drug bust.
Cebu City Police Station 2 Commander Ma. Theresa Macatangay said Cabahug also carried marijuana seeds aside from the leaves, with Dangerous Drugs Board value worth P480,000.
The suspect allegedly sourced his supply from a mountain village in Danao City, Cebu.
Macatangay said Cabahug admitted he is a supplier to vape makers who cook marijuana to extract oil, which is then included in the vape.
The suspect allegedly started his illegal drugs trade in Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City four years ago. His neighbors in Kamputhaw call him "Marijuana Queen" because of his popularity in the area among clients.
He allegedly transferred to Tejero after learning authorities were looking for him.
Cabahug will be facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
