SUNSTAR tallies at least three mayors, three vice mayors, one town councilor and three village councilmen killed in shooting incidents that happened between December 2017 and July 2018. Another village councilor was wounded in an ambush.
Aside from these slain local officials, three priests were also gunned down. A priest was also wounded in another attack in Luzon.
