GIBUTYAG sa Davao City Health Office (CHO) nga dunay walo ka mga lugar nga paylot sa dakbayan alang sa teen centers nga makatabang sa paghatag og igong impormasyon ug serbisyo bahin sa seksuwalidad ug reproductive health sa pagtubag sa problema nga dunay kalambigitan sa mga batan-on.
Si Jeff Fuentes, hepe sa Population Division sa CHO, nagsulti nga kining mga centers naglihok na ug andam nga mo-cater sa panginahanglan sa mga batan-on pinaagi sa paghatag kanila sa saktong impormasyon sa youth-related sexuality issues nga giatubang nila karon apil na ang development ug counseling.
Kini nga teen centers nahimutang sa mga lugar sa Sasa, Erico T. Nograles National High School, Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School, Doña Carmem sa Toril, Bayabas sa Toril, 21-C, Mintal ug sa Buhangin.
“For Davao City, 8 [areas were] piloted sa laki kasi ng siyudad natin, kailangan din natin tignan. We are piloting it sa 8 pilot areas para makita natin kung ano ang impact nito because if the impact is good, then we will scale it up but if it is not working and then we have a lot of investments, then we have to rethink for other strategies,” butyag ni Fuentes.
Sa matag teen center, dunay gidestino nga personahe kinsa magdumala niini por in kaso dunay mga batan-on nga mangayo og panabang. Gikan dinhi, ila sab silang iduso ngadto sa ubang mga pasilidad sama sa teen center sa Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC o Brokenshire Hospital Integrated Health Ministries, Inc. alang sa medikasyon.
“We have that service delivery network that we refer adolescent from our piloted areas to the hospital that also have teen centers,” puno pa niya. (JCR)
