NEST Home & Fabrique Shop, a store conceptualized by fashion designer Philip Rodriguez, will have a pop-up weekend artisan market called Mugna. It will take place from July 12-15 and will showcase artisan finds like well-curated products and novelty items from homeware, fashion and more sourced from Batanes to Jolo.
Patrons can expect freebies, surprises and lots of brands to look out for. Check out waxed-canvas bags from brand Gouache; bespoke items from brand Kaayo Modern Mindanao; fashionable slip-ons from brand Daily Schedule and beautifully detailed pieces from accessories brand Flora Magica; as well as lifestyle items made with the art of banig weaving from brand Lara Samar Weaves.
Apart from that, patrons will be treated to surprise gifts, sampling of cocktails from Manille Liquer and items perfect as a personalised gift like its eco-friendly bamboo toothbrush with charcoal coated bristles and water jug to name a few.
More than an establishment that carries a fusion of homeware and fashion, Nest Home & Fabrique Shop takes one on a mini cultural trip as it carries specialty items sourced from different parts of the country.
