Massage therapist shares gift of faith healing

MASSAGE therapist Patrick Lim said he has a gift of healing through faith and he is doing it through his massage.

The 32-year-old is sharing his gift of healing not because of money but because he wants people to feel great about themselves.

He was raised by a Chinese family in Bacolod City and was sent to a Catholic Chinese school, St. John Institute, during elementary and high school.

He studied at Hagod School in Mandurriao, Iloilo, finishing a course in marketing.

But he ended up as a licensed massage therapist trained by the Department of Health.

Through his massage therapy, he continues to impart wisdom to other people.

He said: "When you are great, you will feel good about yourself and you forget about Jesus Christ. But one should not forget about Jesus Christ because, in every step of your way, Jesus Christ is always there to support you. Without him you are nothing. Just be thankful for that great feeling."

“All human beings wanted to be trained to be the best and their only goal is to enjoy fame and glory. If they are on top already, they forgot their loved ones, Jesus Christ and everybody else. They only knew about themselves as they are the best. If you are really a follower of Jesus Christ, you need to be trained to be the best and if you are already the best, you need to help others without seeking money. And in return, Jesus Christ will reward you for that and that reward will not come instantly. You have to wait for it to happen,” he said.

Money is part of our life. Jesus will provide us with everything we need. Money is good. But the overall thing in the world, he added.

“All we need is to share what we have with love and kindness. If we want to do good things, we do not need instruction or demands, we should do it voluntarily,” he said.

He added: "If you are a stressful kind of person, first and foremost, you have to read the Bible and pray to Jesus Christ and try to sit down and calm yourself, think of happy memories and try to remember what Jesus Christ has given you. He might not give it to you personally but through other people. For instance, when you go to a child's party when you are young, you feel happy. The question is, why you have those kinds of experience? It is because of Jesus Christ. The problem is, stress and pain. That is the way that caused you to doubt Jesus. But look at yourself at the mirror, and you will grateful to Jesus and life must go on.”
