A TOTAL of 399 sports enthusiasts participated in the Laro't Saya sa Parke on Sunday, July 15, at the People's Park in Davao City.
The event was organzied by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) and Davao City through the Sports Development Division-City Mayors Office (SDD-CMO).
Renah Vidamo of SDD-CMO said they accounted a total of 333 zumba participants while there were 41 kids who joined taekwondo, 11 tried boxing, and 14 joined the karatedo clinic.
The park-themed program is regularly being done every Sunday starting 6:00 a.m.
It is a family strengthening program which promotes active and healthy lifestyle.
The free-registration clinic is also being run by National Sports Association (NSA). (ABM)
