LOCAL artists or graphic designers in Bataan are urged to join a contest on reinventing the logo of the Peninsula Electric Cooperative Incorporated (Penelco).
In a statement, Penelco said the contest was created to reinvent its cooperative logo with a more realistic and relevant feature but more dynamic in look.
The contest is open to all member-consumers of Bataan or immediate family.
Participants may join as individuals or groups and can submit only one entry. Entries may be submitted until August 2, 2018.
Qualified entries must be an original work in digital format with at least 600dpi.
A brief description or rationale explaining the components of the logo should also be included in the entry.
The design of the logo should be versatile and must embody three elements — Bataan, Penelco, and being an electric cooperative.
Entries must be personally submitted to Engr. Lawrence Howard Aquende at 2nd Floor PENELCO Engineering Bldg., Main Office in Balanga City or emailed at reinventingpenelcologo@gmail.com
The panel of judges will base entries on concept and relevance, originality, and creativity.
The grand winner will receive P30,000 cash price while the first and second runner-ups will receive P10,000 and P5,000 respectively.
Penelco will also award the third and fourth runner-ups with P2,500 cash prize.
