ROLAND Bantilan leaned on a strong final game to sneak past Ronan Barredo in the men’s division of the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (Cetba) Friday Group Weekly Tournament in the SM City Cebu Bowling Center. Bantilan, a 20-handicapper, scored 220 in the final game to finish the four-game series with a total score of 892 and beat Barredo by 14 points for the men’s title.
Senior bowler Joseph Yu finished in third place with 837. Bantilan took the lead early after scoring 195 but Barredo took the driver’s seat after scoring 188 and 244 in the second and third games, where Bantilan put up 175 and 222, respectively. (RSC)
