Groups partner with Red Cross for blood donation drive

THE Clark Development Corporation (CDC), private companies and local government units have partnered with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) to boost its blood donation drive.

The signing of the memorandum of agreement was spearheaded by the CDC during the Blood Services Partners’ Engagement Ceremony held at Quest Hotel in Clark.

CDC president and CEO Noel Manankil and PRC chairman and CEO Senator Richard Gordon led the ceremony with 65 other representatives and heads of various media outlets, educational institutions, and the local governments of Angeles and Mabalacat in Pampanga, and municipalities of Bustos and Dona Remedios Trinidad in Bulacan among others.

CDC, PRC and its other partners collaborated and agreed to take part in the blood donation drive to be able to generate and ensure availability blood for patients in need.

With its theme “Be there for someone else. Give Blood, Share Life,” PRC and its partners committed to help in delivering the mission of providing safe and quality blood for patients.

Some of the notable partners who took part in the in the agreement signing include the Laus Group of Companies, Converge/ComClark, Quest Hotel and Foton Motors, among others.
