THE Davao City Investment Promotion Center (DCIPC) is looking at three potential business partners who have signified interest in putting up a parking facility in the city.

“Though the ordinance for the parking-facility has been signed already by the city mayor, we are still waiting for the official go-signal from them to make things official,” DCIPC head Lemeul G.Ontorio said in an interview on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at DCIPC office, Magsaysay Park.

Ontorio added the ordinance was already signed last May of this year but this would not take effect yet until it gets published in news print for the general public.

The sites for the proposed parking spaces had already been drafted but this will be released until the ordinance is published.

Ontario also said that though the parking spaces are not for free, hopefully, through these proposed establishments, congested streets in the city will be resolved.
