Bautista: Whirled cap

I MUST have been around the world twice and maybe more. Just last year and at around this very same time, I would have cap that trip as the best. To cap it all out, I was fortunate to have Joy, my mom and dad with me.

I would have never imagined having to stay in Italy for such a long time. Previously, it would have only been a few days, three at most. From Milan to Monza then some others in between before heading to Sicily. By train we went to the island.

It was a whirlwind in Sicily. Never would have I ever imagined I would enjoy it there. A few weeks it was before we decided to, by land head towards Northern Italy. Up Tuscany and Sienna we went.

It was the small towns along the way that made it even better, to cap it all off were the heritage sites we saw from it. We whirled around Arobelobello to Assisi to pray for safe travels, good health and more blessings. We will cap it all after ten straight days in Cinque Terre, five heritage towns in an island before we whirled back to Sicily. What a whirl of a trip it was. Dad definitely enjoyed.

We soon found some cheap tickets to Paris. We whirled in by plane for fifty bucks. I really enjoyed the time we spent there. While it was short and in a whirl, we covered so much with Joy, unlike in previous trips. The third, the charm.

This trip to France was a revelation. I enjoyed. I couldn't say I have the last two trips previously, Joy maybe. I may have my biases towards the French. But all this have changed. It is now beginning to grow on me. I wished this time we could have stayed a little longer.

The very same time I was there last year was also the very same time today when France after twenty years wins the World Cup. I do have a first cousin whom I wed some time ago to a French national, they have two handsome French-Fil boys. She also happens to be part of the film team that did Dunkirk in France, I did visit Normandy to cap off my trip there. We whirled away to Germany after.

Other than the Asian teams it was Germany that I root for, for the World Cup, the defending champs at that. Korea though beat them and that was something. Up until sixteen to eight teams, then four, I soon found myself looking for a team to go for. I may have found another bias with the goalie of France since he too is French-Fil to cap it off. This is my WHIRLED CAP. Oh and to cap everything all off I did buy a cap from each of this places. The French cap I will whirl though. Vive Le France!
