MEMBERS of the University of the Assumption (UA) community felt blessed as images of the patron saints of Pampanga, Virgen de los Remedios and Santo Cristo del Perdon visited the university recently with the “Pamandakit.”
The gathering started with the assembly at the Unisite Subdivision Chapel. This was followed by a procession of students, teachers, administrators, and other members of the UA community with the images of Virgen delos Remedios and Santo Cristo del Perdon.
The procession entered the University and ended at the UA Chapel. The praying of the Holy Rosary, the Angelus, and a Holy Mass was done throughout the day.
The day ended with the transfer of the images to the chapel of Barangay Del Pilar.
The “Pamandakit,” which is a tradition, not just of the university, but the Catholic Church, aims to bless the university, its people, and its community. (Theries Dominique Magbag/UA Intern)
