Quota ladies share joy with CSF Sped pupils

SOME 103 pupils of the San Fernando Elementary School’s Special Education (Sped) class were the beneficiaries of the ladies of Quota International (QI) of Pampanga over the weekend.

QI of Pampanga’s Vilma Dungo said that she and her members visited the learners, most of which with special needs, to give then assistance under the groups program “Hand-in-Hand.” The program provides assistance to the Sped class looking after the needs of the pupils.

“The beneficiaries, 103 of them, some were hearing impaired, others without eyesight, speech impaired were full of life,” Dungo said.

The pupils received pencils from International president Mary Dunlop, chocolate marshmallows and burgers from Jollibee. The pupils expressed their thanks with performances for the Quota ladies.

Quotarians are known especially for their service to disadvantaged women and children and deaf, hard-of-hearing, and speech-impaired people.

Serving and encouraging others, developing friendships, and promoting international understanding are values shared by all Quota members.

Quota International of Pampanga is active in programs for disadvantaged children, bringing donations for the Sped class, among others.
