Baguio cops arrest 4 most wanted persons

FOUR most wanted individuals, including 13 others were collared during a onetime big time operation of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) last week.

Joint personnel of BCPO City Intelligence Unit, station 1 and station 7 headed by Chief Inspector Marlo Evasco arrested on July 26 Renato Esguerdo Busoy Jr., 35, of Sablan, Benguet by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violation Of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 with no recommended bail bond.

Busoy is listed as No. 5 top most wanted person of the BCPO for the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Bonyan Cangitit, 32, resident of Banaue, Ifugao was also collared by joint operatives of BCPO station 9, CIDMU, Banaue MPS, PRO-COR RIU-14, and CIDG-Ifugao.

Cangitit was arrested for frustrated homicide with a recommended bail bond of P100,000; attempted homicide with recommended bail bond of P60,000. The suspect is listed as the fourth most wanted of Station 9 for the 3rd Quarter of this year.

Also on July 26, personnel of Station 8 arrested Erlinda Cirilo a 44 year old female resident of San Luis Village, Baguio City by virtue of a warrant of arrest for estafa with recommended bail bond of P100,000.

The suspect is listed as fourth top most wanted person of Station 8.

BCPO’s Station 5 and personnel of CIDG Baguio and San Isidro, Nueva Ecija police arrested Royce Mesina, 26, by virtue of a warrant of arrest for rape with no bail recommended. The accused is listed as eight top most wanted person of the city.

At least 13 individuals were also arrested during weeklong operation by the different police station of the BCPO.

A suspected drug courier was also collared on July 27 during a buy bust operation at Room A-5, Commuters Lodge, Jacinto Street, Baguio City conducted by operatives of DEU, CIU and Station 7.

Joseph Amisola Ringor, 44, and a resident of T. Alonzo Street, Baguio City was arrested after he sold to DEU operative a sachet of shabu weighing at least one gram worth P8,000. Another three sachets weighing one gram and five sachets with suspected shabu residue were also seized. (SunStar Baguio)
