THE Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Bulldogs bagged five titles at the close of the "Just play, have fun, living football"-themed 2nd RMC Football Festival 2018 held at the Tionko Football Grounds over the weekend.
RMC topped the mixed 8, boys 10, girls 13, women's and men's categories in the event sanctioned by the Davao South Regional Football Association (DRFA).
The Bulldogs born 2010 secured the mixed 8 crown after a 2-1 win over Amigos FC in the finals while the Bulldogs born 2008 squad defeated Hyenas FC, 1-0, in the boys’ 10 titular showdown.
The RMC footbelles, for their part, beat the Crossing Bayabas National High School (CBNHS), 3-1, to capture the girls 13 title.
The women's team, however, subdued CR7 Food Truck while the men's team blanked St. Alexius, 1-0, in the championship round.
Meanwhile, the Hyenas FC copped two titles by beating RMC Bulldogs, 2-1, in the mixed 9 division finals before scoring a 1-0 win over CMU in the boys’ 13 division.
PPUFC of Panabo City also won two titles after edging RMC, 2-1, in the mix 7 division finals and routing the host team, 6-1, in the mix 6 division championship round.
The other winners: Crocs FC (boys 12), Green Knights (bots 14), GSS Enterprises (girls 18), Black Knights (boys 18), Southshield FC Red (boys 11), CMU (boys 17) and Solido (35 and up).
