FOR A systemic storage system at the seat of the local government, a centralized depot has to be set in place.
Recently, the City Engineers Office and the General Services Office were asked to put-up a centralized depot which can be easily accessed.
These two offices are custodians of various properties of the City Government.
Vice Mayor Daniel Fariñas said there should be an easy access of supplies and readiness of equipment during special occasions and emergencies.
He said a centralized depot is crucial in order to best serve the public.
Fariñas added in a proposed resolution that a centralized depot is also vital in order to have an easy accounting of government facilities.
The person in charge of these equipment could also easily oversee if these are ready for use as requested by concerned departments. (Rimaliza Opiña)
