A space for you at Savoy Hotel

WHENEVER my wandering feet found itself in Metro Manila, my top concern is always the terrible traffic. Who wants to spend minutes, even hours, in a traffic jam? No one.

Transferring from Ninoy Aquino International Airport to my hotel is usually not a good experience for me but last July 30 was a different story.

I was checked in at Savoy Hotel Manila, just stone’s throw away from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3. I literally walked from the airport to the hotel and it took me only five minutes to reach this 12-storey hotel within the 25-hectare Newport City in Pasay City (though hotel transfers are available, I just chose to walk for some sort of exercise, after all I only had my backpack on. Also, Runway Manila, an enclosed, air-conditioned 220-meter pedestrian link bridge that connects NAIA Terminal 3 to Newport City is available).

I only stayed one night at this new “airport hotel” but with the quality service and experience I had, the hotel deserves five stars in its review section.

I had a good sleep and a sumptuous breakfast (special mention to its cookies and Adobo!).

I also enjoyed the view from my room: unobstructed view of the airport’s runway and highways back grounded by the cityscape.

If you are planning to try another staycation experience in Metro Manila, I suggest, pay visit to this 684-room hotel that highlights the luxurious comforts perfect for business and leisure travelers.

The hotel rooms, from the most basic standard rooms (Essentials) to comfortable executive suites (The Runway, The Space, and The Deck), can welcome everyone with much-deserved spaces ranging from 23 to 27 square meters room sizes.

Lorenzo Tang, Savoy Hotel Manila general manager, shared the hotel was made for businessmen who need a venue for meetings, travelers who want to spend the night beside the airport terminal, and to families who want to enjoy staycation together.

The hotel, which opened last June 2018, is strategically located in the bustling entertainment center of Newport City, enabling guests to dine, shop, and treat themselves.

Fun destinations like Resorts World Manila and Newport Mall, among others, are easily just a few blocks away from the hotel. Guests can even go around Newport City in style onboard the hotel’s Mini Cooper, which is available for rent.

Savoy Hotel Manila is Megaworld’s second hotel under its homegrown Savoy brand. The first Savoy Hotel opened in Boracay Newcoast last year, while another Savoy Hotel is expected to open in Mactan Newtown next year.

Need a space to stay near the airport with complete amenities needed and within a lifestyle center? Savoy Hotel Manila is definitely a consideration. For booking and reservations, call (+632) 317-2869.
