AS CHICKEN DELI marks its 35th year in the food business in Bacolod City, it has signed a contract with Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc. (PCPPI) as its exclusive beverage partner in all its branches here and outside of Bacolod City.
Signing the contract were Lourdes Ciocon Group of Companies chief operations officer Danny Pumarega, directors Malou Granada and Roseller “RC” Ciocon Jr., also the Chicken Deli executive committee officer and PCPPI officials led by general manager Delfin Dizon, senior general manager Lyndon Cuadra, and sup head of national sales Domingo Almazan in a gathering held yesterday at L’ Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City, the very spot where the first Chicken Deli was located when it was first established in 1983.
Ciocon said that Pepsi products are reliable brands under a company which has a high sense of concern to the community.
He said that Pepsi Cola as a company helped the communities that are struck by calamities such as the super typhoon Yolanda that badly hit the people in the Eastern, Western and Central Visayas regions in the Philippines.
He recalled how his grandmother Lourdes loved to help the needy. The family’s mantra is always to love and help the least, the lost and the last.
For his part, Delfin said that Chicken Deli has formed part of the success of the Pepsi Cola Bacolod plant. Pepsi has been with Chicken Deli since then until it branches out in Manila.
Cuadra also said that the chicken inasal being sold by Chicken Deli is the best-tasting chicken inasal in Bacolod City and other parts of the country.
