THE DyRL Bacolod station manager Renee Brillantes who died on July 28 due to an aneurysm will be laid to rest Friday, August 10, at Bacolod Memorial Park in Barangay Alijis, Bacolod City at 1 p.m.
The funeral rites which will be officiated by Reverend Fr. Agustin Hinayan of St. John the Baptist Chaplency Church in Barangay Punta-Taytay, Bacolod City.
Brillantes was 47 when she died.
She started her broadcasting career in 1996 and became their station manager in 2004.
She was a political science graduate of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos in Bacolod City.
She was an active member of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) Negros Chapter before she died.
Media practitioners are one in extending their sincerest condolence to the family of Brillantes.
