FOUNDED on July 30, 2016, the Davao Digitial Influencers, Inc. (DDI) marked another year of promoting responsible netizenship last July 28, 2018 at the Verdon Parc.
The anniversary celebration had a colorful and beach-like vibe with is luau theme. Member digital influencers came in their best Hawaiian-inspired clothes. At the end of the night it was Emjay Llerena of Oh Emjay and Penn Villamora of CampusMagazine.Ph who bagged the best dressed award.
The anniversary kicked off with an entertaining dance number by some of the organization's talented members.
The newly elected officers, led by president Verna Luga of Woman-ElanVital.com and vice president Ian Ray Garcia of Wander Lust, were then inducted by Davao City vice mayor Bernard Al-ag. Other officers for 2018-2020 are Maria Celeste Noblefranca (Busy Queen Philippines), secretary general; Vanessa Mabini (foodiemom.com), treasurer; Lovely Boiser (iamlovelyboiser.com), auditor; Llerena, events director; Anna Liza S. Alfafara (Itswhereyouat.com), learning officer; Jean Lorraine Pal (palraine.com, glamourholicmom.com, foodiepalonline.com), membership coordinator; Sarah Dayrit (davaofoodtographer.com), bloggers representative; Dorz Calla (The Dorz Fallac on Youtube), video bloggers representative; and RJ Lumawag (kapediaries.wordpress.com), content and social media director.
Fun games were prepared for the members and prizes from sponsors were also raffled off. Later in the evening, DDI gave Garcia the Influencer of the Year Award.
Cebu Pacific, one of the platinum sponsors, also brought in its latest in-flight product, the Ube-Langka Croissant, which was delicious, for the members to try.
Aside from Al-ag, other guests during the celebration were Seralcho president Charles Lim and Cebu Pacific corporate communications director Charo Logarta Lagamon and her team.
