THE trend nowadays among women is to have “glass” skin. I have been hearing about this from friends who have been trying a number of products and brands to achieve this goal.
What is “glass” skin? How do you achieve it? Why do a lot of women go gaga over it?
Basically, this refers to having luminous, flawless skin that appears to be transparent. Usually, we see this among Koreans. Well, we can never deny the fact that they’re a race that many of us look up to when it comes to skin care and beauty regimen. In fact, a number of Korean brands are already flooding the local market.
Curious about this latest trend in beauty, I started researching for products that can help me improve my skin, especially on my face.
While browsing several Facebook pages and posts, I came across the newest offerings of homegrown brand BN Whitening Shoppe.
Since I have already tried some of their products and have been using them for quite a while now, I immediately got myself their Essence Toner and Body Emulsion.
Essence Toner
BN Whitening Shoppe owner Bianca Naranjo-Kanakan assured me that their Essence Toner is perfect for my “glass” skin journey.
True enough, in just two weeks of using it, I can already see the improvement. My skin has become luminous, that it glows even without applying any BB or CC cream. And that is only for P189 per 100ml bottle.
I use it every night after washing my face.
I have another regimen, though. After removing all the dirt from my face with the aid of Essence Toner, I apply a thin layer of BN’s Snow White Cream. I think, it has helped hasten the achievement of my goal.
What I also love about this new product is ita being “friendly” to my skin. Considering that I have ultra sensitive skin, my main concern always when trying out new products is my skin’s reaction.
But, of course, to maintain your glowing skin, you need to put on sunblock. That is the rule you should never break!
Body Emulsion
This new body cream/lotion from BN has been made for those who do not really want to have fairer complexion, but would love to have supple and extra moisturized skin.
When I decided to try BN’s Body Emulsion, I had in mind several standards that I would definitely search for in this bottle of beauty product that promises to make my skin look better than before.
I have tried a couple of moisturizer from the big brands. And I must say, this can definitely compete. For only P189 per bottle of 100ml, I can already have my skin moisturized all day long.
I just wish they can come up with a new packaging. Probably in tube form that is easier to squeeze.

I have read several reviews about charcoal toothpaste. I learned that BN has introduced one, too. Therefore, it would be the next product I am going to try.
