Canadian swimming coach to hold talk in Bacolod

WILFRED Arzaga, a veteran swimming coach from Canada, will be in the Philippines this month to be the resource speaker in the Philippine National Sports Coaching Conference to be held under the auspices of the Federation of School Sports Association of the Philippines (Fessap), the sole governing body recognized by the Fisu (Federation Internationale du Sport Universitaire) in collaboration with the Philippine Aquatics Sports Coaches Association Inc. (Pascai).

On August 24 to 26, he will share his expertise among the coaches in the Visayas and Mindanao at Sta. Fe Resort in Bacolod City.

Among the things he is expected to discuss are the principles on how to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the participants in the field of sports that includes principles of sports coaching, sports management, sports behavior, sports teaching and principles of sports in physical training.

For interested participants, the seminar is pegged at P5,000 which will cover meals, snacks, seminar kit and the accommodation of the participants for their three days and two nights stay at Sta. Fe Resort dormitory.

Participants who will not be staying overnight will pay P3,000 and that will also cover meals, snacks and a seminar kit.
