A NEW twist in my hectic academic and cultural activities was the celebration of the Swiss National Day called “Swissness from A to Z” at Marco Polo Plaza Cebu. Then, the wedding of my former student Rachel Puray to long-time sweetheart Mico Vasaya was a blissful event. The exclusive Media Lunch Preview of Hai Shin Lou Cebu followed at Marco Polo.
I was invited by the Province of Cebu during the East Asia Inter-regional Tourism Forum on Aug. 10 to 13 hosted by Tottori, Japan. The delegation was led by Cebu Vice-Gov. Agnes Magpale and joined by Grace Paulino, Junjet Primor and Cinbeth Orellano. (More on this next issue). Another event was the launch of Sunkai Land Inc.’s Sun Park Royal Hotel and residences.
