Ex-militia arrested for attempted homicide

A FORMER militiaman was arrested for attempted homicide charges around 10 a.m. Thursday, August 9, in Sirawai town, Zamboanga del Norte, the police said Monday.

Chief Inspector Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, said Ahi Taladji, 66, a retired militia, was arrested in Doña Cecilia village.

Galvez said Taladji has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of attempted homicide with recommended bail of P12,000 issued by the court in Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte. (Bong Garcia/SunStar Philippines)
