CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- A video of a college student singing “Reflection” has gone viral and reached Filipina singer and Broadway star Lea Salonga.
As of Sunday afternoon, August 12, the video posted by Facebook user Melo Canlas that has 176,000 views and 8,600 likes made rounds online and reached Lea Salonga.
The 19-year-old Canlas is a fourth year college student taking up BS Occupational Therapy at the Angeles University Foundation (AUF).
According to him, he always sings in random places especially at school and he made the video during their prelim exams to release his stress and have a good time with his classmates.
He grew up listening to Lea, and loves her way of singing. “She's amazing and truly inspiring,” stated Canlas.
He also posted it on his Twitter account, went viral and was finally noticed by the singer and actress.
