CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - Mayor Oscar Rodriguez of this city welcomed Wednesday the entry of Hainan, China's FAW Haima Automobiles in the Philippine market.
Rodriguez also lauded the Haima executives for bringing in to the city the quality and affordable China-made Mazda technology boosted automobiles.
The Autoworld Pampanga of automotive conglomerate Laus Group of Companies (LGC) exclusively distributes FAW Haima Automobiles.
"You have chosen the best and the country's leader in automotive dealership, which is the Laus Group led here by my kompadre Levy. We at the City Government of San Fernando appreciate your choice of our city as the birthplace of Haima in the Philippines," Rodriguez told the executives of Haima.
"Rest assured, we at the City Government will accord all the necessary assistance in your endeavor," Rodriguez added.
The mayor also said the move of LGC and Haima will generate investments and employment for Fernandinos.
Fred Huang, FAW Haima General Director for Overseas Marketing and Tie Wang, Regional Manager for Overseas Sales (International Business Department) with LGC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Levy P. Laus, paid the mayor's courtesy call at his office at Heroes Hall before the grand launching of the distributorship.
