CAGAYAN de Oro Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin Uy confirmed on Monday, August 14, that former Vice Mayor Ian Acenas visited him at his City Hall office.
Uy, however, said they did not discuss politics and instead just asked each other how they were doing.
“Wala man bahin sa politics, we’re good friends being public servants, so everybody’s welcome,” he said, adding “Nangumusta, we doubled the bondness of friendship.”
Uy also refused to reveal when the visit was made, though he smiled when asked if he just wants to leave it as a secret.
It can be recalled that Uy took over the vice mayoralty race with a total of 93,360 votes, defeating Acenas of Padayon Pilipino who only garnered 84,324 votes during the 2016 elections. (PJ Orias)
