Twin blasts hit Zamboanga (9:16 a.m.)

TWO bomb explosions rocked Zamboanga City Friday dawn. No one was injured in the blasts.

Senior Superintendent Edwin de Ocampo, acting city police chief, the police have been placed on the highest alert level of security following the explosions.

De Ocampo said the first bomb exploded past 4 a.m. at a residential area on Sevilla St., while the second bomb exploded 10 minutes after near the City Hall.

No damage to property was reported, he said.

The local police declined to divulge the identities of the suspects pending investigation. (ABC/Sunnex)
