THE Social Security System (SSS) Visayas West I Division has urged anew Negrenses to avail of its E-Mobile services at Negros Occidental Multi-Purpose Activity Center Wednesday, August 15.
Its acting vice president Lilani Benedian, in a briefing at SSS-Bacolod Branch Tuesday, August 14, said the services to be provided during the half day activity starting 8 a.m. includes data capturing and registration.
Benedian said clients may also make inquiries like requirements and processes on applying for various benefits offered by the SSS.
“Some high ranking officials of the agency are also expected to arrive, and may conduct visits to members and employers in the province,” she added.
SSS Visayas West I Division covers nine branches in Negros Island.
These include those in cities of Bacolod, Bago, Kabankalan, Sagay, Victorias, and San Carlos in Negros Occidental.
The two other branches are in cities of Bais and Dumaguete in Negros Oriental.
In terms of registered members, SSS Visayas West I Division currently has a total of about 1,134,933 covered employees and self-employed and voluntary members.
For SSS–Bacolod Branch alone, there are already 422,777 registered members, records from the agency further showed.
SSS–Bacolod, in a statement earlier, said that the initiative is part of the company’s commitment to giving its clients fast and convenient services.
Aside from the registration for those who want to become members, qualified SSS members may also avail of data capture for Unified Members Identification.
Other services during the activity are the issuance of SSS number and updating of records like a change of status and additional beneficiaries, among others.
“The SSS is stepping up its efforts to reach out to enroll more members for them to avail of the company’s benefits such as sickness, maternity, retirement, death, funeral, and disability,” it said.
