A BUSINESSMAN was shot by still unidentified assailants in the evening of August 13, at his residence at No. 21A Purok 11, Phase 2 Ciudad Grande, Bakakeng Sur, Baguio City.
The victim was identified as Dexter Balancio De Guzman, 42, married, businessman.
Initial investigation revealed that housemaid Melody Bautista Tatel, 22, single, heard three successive gun shots and saw the victim slumped in his vehicle, prompting her to seek help.
De Guzman was brought to the Baguio General Hospital by car wash attendant Gerald Del Monte who was near the place of incident.
The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and is currently undergoing surgical operation at BGHMC.
Investigation is ongoing.
