Camella takes anniversary celebration to Davao

AFTER its successful kick-off celebration last August 5, Camella, the country’s largest homebuilder and Vista Land’s flagship brand, took the second leg of its monthlong, nationwide anniversary celebration - National Camella Day (NCD) - highlighted by a gift-giving activity and a series of fun and entertainment activities at Lanang Business Park, Davao City.

The celebration started with a motorcade followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony that marked the opening of the banchetto fair, and the special presentation of "Esang", the official mascot of Camella’s Lessandra Series - the brand's most affordable line of houses.

Apart from underlining the legacy and milestones that Camella has reached in over 40 years, NCD 2018 aims all Camella stakeholders to celebrate the success, love and pride for the brand. Thus, this year’s NCD tagline is “Taga-Camella Ako”.

Aside from the festivities shared with various stakeholders of Camella, NCD-Davao likewise expanded its activities to benefit the community. Around 80 children beneficiaries from SOS Children’s Village Davao received loot bags and groceries in its gift-giving activities. The children were also entertained in balloon twisting, face painting and magic show.

A cheerdance competition entitled Hataw-Davao was also conducted during the event.

The Voice Kids Grand Champion Jona Soquite, Asia’s Got Talent Grand Finalists Neil Llanes and DMX Comvalenoz, and the 5-member band sensation BoybandPH staged an all-out concert performance to cap off the festivities.

Social media influencer Randolph Valmoria also presented a one-man comical skit.

The event then premiered Camella's second installation of its 3-part web series or digiserye that highlights Lessandra. The third and last short film from the lighthearted digiserye is scheduled for release on August 18 during the third leg of NCD at Vista Mall Iloilo.

First launched at Vista Mall Taguig in 2017, this year’s NCD is a month-long celebration highlighted by weekly events across the country on the following schedules: August 18 at Vista Mall Iloilo, Oton, Iloilo City; and August 25 at Vista Mall Daang Hari, Cavite.
