HERE’S good news for those who were already around when the Beatles lorded over the airwaves with a series of hit songs.
The group The Bootleg Beatles will be back for a show at the IEC IC3 Cebu Convention Center on Sept. 8. Show starts at 8 p.m.
Relive your beautiful memories with the sound of the Beatles which will be performed by the group’s look- and sound-alikes. I watched the group when they came here some three years ago.

Another piece of good news, this time for the KathNiel fans. The popular duo will be back in the new Star Cinema project “The Hows of Us.”
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla might come to Cebu for a meet and greet with fans, if plans don’t miscarry.
I can recall some female fans looking like they had been possessed when they saw Daniel in person at the SM City Cebu covered car park sometime ago.
One even dared to mount the stage to hug Daniel. Unfortunately for her, she was caught by a security man before she could touch Daniel.
“The Hows of Us” will be shown in cinemas nationwide starting Aug. 29.

Contrary to what JaDine fans say, there’s chemistry between James Reid and Sarah Geronimo. The two performed on “It’s Showtime” last Wednesday to promote their new project under Viva Films.
JaDine fans have nothing to worry about as James and Sarah are not paired off as a love team in “Ms. Granny.” The film will hit the cinemas on Wednesday.
