Having a specific amount of money in your possession can make you think twice. This works every time I travel. If you are still unsure of your particular budget, consider consulting a friend or loved one who has been to that destination. Ask about the expenses you may incur from the trip.
5. Embrace Public Transport
This tip is helpful when traveling in groups. Going from one place to another is part of the experience, so make that experience blend in with the location by utilizing public transportation. It can be time-consuming, but it is a lot cheaper. When traveling to parts of Australia and Europe, I always consider riding a train or a bus, not only can I see beautiful places, it also gives me the feeling of independence.
