FOLLOWING the fast sales take up of its residential units, HT Land Inc. is exploring the idea of offering condo-hotel units for its third tower.

Mandani Bay project director Gilbert Ang yesterday said they plan to make Tower 3 a mix of condo-hotels and residential units as part of the company’s plan to offer Cebuanos and investors a a Mandani Bay experience in their early developments.

Ang said they will look for a reputable international hotel brand to manage the condo-hotel segment. They want a brand name to with with Mandani Bay’s positioning as a high-end township development.

The planned condo-hotel will have 250 units.

Moreover, Ang announced yesterday that of the 500 units they initially opened for selling last Aug.8, Tower 2 has sold 350 units valued at P1.7 billion.

The fast sales takeup of the residential units was attributed to the strong appetite of local and regional buyers who want to own a piece of investment in one of Mandaue City’s newest township developments.

There are about 1,342 residential units being offered in Tower 2. All residences in the tower are semi-furnished with selected features and fittings to make the homeowner’s move easier and convenient.

Besides the residential and condo-hotel offerings, HT Land will position Tower 4 as an office building.

Ang said they are now working on the accreditation from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority for its first office tower.

Mandani Bay is a 20-hectare mixed-use development currently under construction in the Mandaue City Reclamation Area.

Thw 10-year masterplan is a joint venture between Hong Kong Land and Cebu-based Taft Properties. (KOC)
